As principal and owner at Crystal Blackshaw Interiors, Crystal has garnered a reputation as one of Chicago's top interior designers. Crystal's eclectic design approach and affinity for found objects have given her a reputation for creating inspired and unique interior environments.
Blackshaw is known for making each client's home a reflection of their personality and passions. Crystal and her team work with architects and contractors to bring the distinct visions seen in her work. Since completing her formal interior design studies in the Pacific Northwest and starting her Chicago-based studio in 2006, her work has been featured in multiple leading publications, including Elle Décor, Florida Design, Design Chicago, Chicago Interiors, CS Interiors, and HGTV Magazine.
Crystal currently lives in Lincoln Park, Chicago with her husband and business partner Leon, their daughters Brianna and Alina, and fur babies Hiro, Aslan, and Egor.
